Hello, my name is Narcisa Boitor, I am a 42-years-old self-taught female artist based in Satu Mare, Romania. I have a Law degree and I worked in the field until 2022. In 2023 I decided to devote entirely to painting. This is what I love and what makes me happy. I think it's time to show my paintings to the world.
I have lived in the UK, Hertfordshire, for about 8 years. I had an amazing experience there. I've met wonderful people and made amazing friends, but I returned to Romania because of my family. Part of my soul remained there; somehow, I feel I'm between two places. I have an amazing husband, and I'm a proud mom of 2 boys. My family supports my passion for art.
I've been painting on and off since I was a kid. In high school, I attended art courses at the School of Art. Painting is a deep inner experience, the form to express my feelings, the way I understand nature, things, and relations. That is how I transpose the excitement of life. I connect to my inner self, emotions, memories, and dreams.
I would be extremely happy if I could bring a drop of poetry and music through my paintings into someone's life. If only there were a printer able to project on canvas my mind images! ☺
My favourite style is semi-abstract with figurative elements, symbols, geometrical shapes and contemporary art. I'm trying to improve my technique. There's always something to learn, to practise but I enjoy it most when I express myself intuitively, freely, without rules and pressure.
It's amazing and an honour to me when people admire and appreciate my works.
